We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
4. Contact Data
Contact data you import into PingPanda — including names, phone numbers, email addresses, and conversation history — belongs to you. We process this data solely to provide the Service. We do not sell, rent, or share your contact data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import and message the contacts in your account, and for complying with applicable messaging regulations.
5. AI and Data Processing
When you use our AI features, your messages and documents are processed by third-party AI providers (including OpenAI and similar services) to generate responses and embeddings. These providers are bound by data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your data to train their models. AI conversation data may be retained to provide continuity of service and to debug issues.
6. Sharing of Information
We share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service, including cloud hosting providers, payment processors, email delivery services, and AI model providers. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
7. WhatsApp and Meta
PingPanda uses the WhatsApp Business API provided by Meta. When you connect a WhatsApp number, certain data is transmitted to and from Meta's infrastructure. Your use of the Service is subject to Meta's own terms and privacy policy. We recommend reviewing Meta's data practices independently.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. Contact records, conversation history, and AI documents are retained until you delete them or close your account. We may retain certain data for longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
9. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
